The HENCELLS were modeled from clay and cast using a four part plaster mold and quick setting cement without aggregate. One of the cells was made using styrofoam pellets as an aggregate and produced a noticeably lighter weight form. The cells are attached to the steel panel by carriage bolts which were bent at a slight angle and embedded into the form while cement was still wet.
