Articulation + Vessel

The articulated arm cradles a vessel and shifts between two positions. At it's lowest position, the vessel is easy to observe and water, while extending the arm into it's upward position allows for better access to light. Each vessel was cast in cement using a spherical mold with a cylindrical void allowing for pebble medium to be inserted. The arm was assembled using laser-cut wood and hex bolts. It is meant as a prototype for a mechanized system that may surface later in the semester.
