Using a hollow wood frame, metal wire, concrete, and pea gravel, I constructed a housing unit for sedum plants. After assembling the wood frame, I constructed wire baskets which were filled with foam to prevent cement from entering the frame. After pouring the cement, I removed the foam, added pea gravel and sedum, and suspended my frame. Hopefully, water will percolate through the void in the cement and the sedum plants will flourish on each side of the frame.
